Unicomp participates in the "Education in Armenia" 2008 Expo

From April 16 to 18 the 7th "Education in Armenia" International Expo was held in Yerevan.

In its "IT-education" pavilion Unicomp presented the most advanced types of the computer classrooms-HP Mobile Classroom and Thin Client solutions, which have many advantages when compared with average computer classrooms.

HP Mobile Classroom combines all the best features of a mobile classroom, such as:
- Ability to use PCs outside classroom;
- Higher flexibility of curriculum development;
- Use of notebooks, wireless networks, projectors and the Net;
- Enhanced involvement of every student in learning;
- Use of visual aids, making subject matter more accessible and easier to comprehend.
One of the most important advantages of the mobile classroom is its cost-effectiveness, as, unlike the Desktop classroom, which requires desks and other items of furniture, wiring and couplings, safeguards, such as reinforced doors and bars on windows, the educational establishment may possess just one or several trolleys to house notebooks and related gear.
HP Thin Client allows many students to simultaneously use one server (Thin Client, monitor and keyboard):
- It is simple and easy to use and maintain, as all the operations are
performed on the server and there is no need to install and maintain a
separate operating system on each workstation;
- HP Thin Client is reliable and ensures data security, as all workstations
operation is easily controlled;
- HP Thin Client saves money, when widely used, as no Hard Disc is required,
resulting in lower price and lesser power consumption.
